CIP so far has been fun for me. Last time, it was the record-breaking attempt to make the world's longest popiah with numerous beneficieries. That was at Sentosa, and you can guess why it was held there, for the different games and all.
Just now was at an orphanage at Eunos. Me and the malay people from Malay Society gotta set up a booth there, where we let kids play some fishing games. haha it was pretty fun helping those kids 'cheat' to get their five 'fishes' easily and subsequently reap real rewards in the form of toys - which they could choose from a wide range of choices. haha...no wonder our stall seemed to be very popular among those kids ^^
Having lots of fun is one thing, but knowing that the fun and sweat and the occassional fight over boredom goes into making difference in the lives of the unfortunate, may it be big or small, gave us this sense of achievement and satisfaction.at the end of the day, we were joyous and happy, we got to sabo one of our people for throwing water at us earlier in the day. I felt sorry for him. His over-exaggerated 'punishment' was like a hundred times worse than what he did to us- we shot him with the big water gun, pushed him into the 'fishing pond', sprayed him with water while he was under the table picking us loose balls.
Hahaha. one utterly disappointed guy. 10plus more happy people. and I knew i will never regret prioritising this over a possible class outing with old classmates, which has been agonisingly cancelled again coz ive forgotten my poly peeps didn't get to celebrate youth day. well....i have to say something to 'em.....: TOO BAD! harhar so evil of me.
but hey im sad ok.i've been waiting for just one, yes ONE, movie outing with old peeps and it looks like i'll just have to forget about it - and them.
WTH. honestly, im not one who just get on with life in a totally new and isolated world,in this case NJC, and forget about old friends as though they've never existed in my life.
