hey guys, thankx a lot for the cake and celebs at haik's house. it turned out to be a great outing. and it was particularly great to round up our hellish PW year with a final fun-filled visit to my team's default PW working place (haik's hse!). hehe. nice food. funny movie. and fun roundabout at the Esplanade.
im experiencing my own flu outbreak in my own home. my sis contracted it first, and now im down with it too.
anyway, had a minor, very very minor surgery yesterday. had painkiller injected into my gum (ouch!). the insanely huge syringe intimidated me for a while, but i tried my best to keep my cool. den a flat electrode is strapped across my left arm, and the doctor took this pen-looking end of the circuit into my mouth ( yes, an electrical circuit). apparently, my gum is growing weirdly, like my teeth, and had to be cut off a bit, so that my orthodontist can proceed with the last stage of my braces. and the cleanest way (minimal bleeding and pain) is to use the electrical method of cutting off small tissues.
ok back to the surgery. the 'pen' made contact with my gum and an instant smoke emanated from my mouth, chocking my already pleghm-chocked windpipe. the assistant scrambled to insert the vacuum tube near my mouth to suck out the smoke. "u ok there Sufyan? " he asked. i juz nodded my head, my mouth nt able to do anyhting with the pen and the vacuum tube stuffed in it. thank god i had the anaesthetic injection.
after the surgery, i went to play soccer right away. hehe. then, only after an hour, i had to scramble home to get my hands on paracetamol, coz the pain from the surgery made its debut (after the aneasthetic effects wore off). now, my gums are alrite, but no soccer for now coz im down with flu and fever. haiz.
which leaves me worrying about another promo exams. my religious school's.i've screwed up NJ's, and surely, i don't wanna repeat the same feat for the upcoming one. which also means i may have to skip the class's chalet (1st day) and soccer matches with my neighbours. haiz.
