yay, i've finally won the battle against the flu virus!! ( though i shouldnt be admitting now that it took me 2 weeks and 2 days to do so). it has somewhat deprived me of the newfound focus on mugging and bursts of energy that have fueled my enthusiasm in physically challenging stuff like PE and soccer, so hoping i'll do well for the post-sick recuperation. hehe. so much for the recovering part.
came across this new band that's seemingly slightly over-ambitious - and good.hmm of course it should be good, they've got tom delonge from Blink 182 and the drummer guy from the Offspring and some other guitarists from some other well-known-but-I-don't-know-one bands. nope, no more blink 182 half-naked clowning, or hilarious lyrics, nor the super energetic drums with familiar heavy electric guitar accompaniment. looks like the new band, Angels and Airwaves, is leaving the blink world to enter coldplay territory, but is stumbling along the way. the songs are nice, but half of the album don't have that 'punch'. or 'kick'. you know what i mean. anyways, I posted one of their songs here. so yep, enjoy! 'The Adventure' is one of those kind that may make your soul drift away a bit for a moment, before immersing yourself in some aura of good music.
